Resolving resistance is integral to successful treatment. Understanding resistance offers the

the client to remain open and involved.
Participants will develop effective Motivational Interviewing skills.
The emphasis is on working with client resistance/resolving ambivalence. Integration of
skills specific to participants' work environments will be addressed. Some knowledge
